Last week Team Alpha Geek, Burleigh/PPMS, competed at the FIRST® World Championship in Houston, Texas as one of two FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge teams representing the state of Wisconsin. The FLL portion of the event hosted 160 Challenge teams from 60 different countries! The team presented their innovation project and robot design to a panel of judges and competed in an exciting robot game. Team Alpha Geek was thrilled to win the Core Values Finalist Award! Other highlights for the team included scoring a team season-high robot game score of 425 points and competing in an Encore alliance game paired with teams from Colorado and South Africa. It was an unforgettable 4-day experience celebrating robotics, innovation, and teamwork!
