Monday, May 18th, twenty 8th grade student-athletes from the boys track team traveled to Brookfield Central High School for their final meet of the year; a 12 team invitational.

Pilgrim Park took home the second place team trophy with 80 points, just eight points away from first.

It was a team effort with many athletes earning points for the team by finishing in places first through sixth.

Medals and ribbons will be distributed by Coach Kust this week.

The following student-athletes were medal winners:

Nicasio Fink won gold in the 1600 meter run and silver in the 800 meter run. Caden Hamel won gold in the 400 meter run. Henry Miles won gold in the high jump, triple jump and was part of the gold medal winning 1600 meter relay team along with Caden Hamel, Raymond Chen, and Ben Ewig.

Congratulations to all the athletes that tallied sixteen (16) Personal Record performances. This was a tremendous way to end the track season.

The coaches want to thank all the student-athletes for their hard work this season.

Also good luck to the 8th graders as they move on to Brook East next year and Coach Kust hopes to see all the 7th graders again next season.
